This article came about by another one of our team members, Sam Moore, reflecting on getting into Kings of War less than a year ago and wishing there were more resources for new players trying to figure out the best and easiest way to get into Kings of War. While there is not a clear cut answer below or a unified list, this is intended to allow players to form their opinions based on what things they value and to help them avoid pitfalls when it comes to things that could burn a new player when starting an army for the first time.
